MaPrimeRénov is France’s one-stop-shop and financial assistance programme that supports homeowners (including landlords) to improve their energy and carbon efficiency.
The Mon Accompagnateur Rénov (My Renovation Assistant) is a new professional role that has been created to provide end-to-end advice and guidance. They:
• Carry out an energy audit
• Support the development of the project
• Provide assistance selecting quotes and securing finance
• Advise on how to monitor the site during works
• Visit the home post-installation to confirm completion of the works, fitting energy monitoring equipment and giving advice on living in the property post-retrofit
As of February 2023, approximately one million households, primarily low-income, have received funding through the scheme.
