Our Partners & Sponsors.

We work with organisations across the UK who share a commitment to improving housing quality and accelerating retrofit.

These groups were created after our six working groups surfaced shared challenges and opportunities that cut across their individual remits. Rather than tackle these in isolation, we formed theme groups to provide a structure for coordinated action.

Our Partners.

Our partners are nonprofit organisations who support the work of the National Retrofit Hub, and contribute their expertise, knowledge, and time.

They help shape the direction of retrofit at national level by joining our advisory panel and contributing to working groups and research. Through this involvement, partners play an active role in the practical and strategic development of solutions that improve housing quality and accelerate retrofit across the UK.

They can join our advisory panel and take part in working groups, workshops, and research activity. Their involvement helps inform published reports, evidence submissions, and national conversations on retrofit policy and practice.

OUR PROJECTS.

The NRH leads focused projects that address the structural challenges slowing retrofit across the UK.

Place-Based Retrofit.

This project examines how retrofit can be better informed by and respond to the physical, relational and systemic characteristics and needs of a place.. The work explores how partnerships, collaboration, a deep understanding of place and meaningful community involvement, supported by local leadership and coordinated strategy, can unlock progress and build durable capacity rooted in place. The project creates useful tools to help actors at all scales engage with, deliver or support place-based retrofit strategies.
