# National Retrofit Hub > The National Retrofit Hub (NRH) is a UK Community Interest Company enabling the local and equitable delivery of home retrofit at scale. It convenes the retrofit sector, builds the evidence base, and shares practical guidance to help make the UK's homes warm, healthy and net zero. ## About The National Retrofit Hub (NRH) exists to enable the local and equitable delivery of retrofit at scale. It brings the retrofit sector together to solve the systemic barriers to upgrading the UK's homes, connecting national and local government, industry, local authorities, community organisations and citizens. NRH is a Community Interest Company (CIC), led by Co-Directors Rachael Owens and Sara Edmonds. Its work is organised around six working groups and six cross-cutting themes, supported by focused projects, a Knowledge Hub, and the Alliance of Nations covering the UK and Ireland. ## How we work NRH convenes expertise through working groups (focused on specific parts of the retrofit system) and cross-cutting theme groups (focused on issues that run across all of retrofit). It runs projects that turn evidence into practical tools and recommendations, and shares learning openly through its Knowledge Hub.
